Greed (Untitled Game Jam #13 Entry)
A downloadable game for Windows
First game jam submission, and I gotta admit it's been as stressful as enjoyable. I just wish I hadn't wasted time on the roguelike aspect of the game.
The game's idea: Dungeon crawler or something where you can gain bonuses depending on how constrained you are. The more hindering elements sacrificing your efficiency you take, the more "bonus points" you earn and can use on treasure chests to salvage the bonus you want. However, as you get bonuses, you lose some of your bonus points, so be careful of the bonus/malus balance. The prototype was supposed to fully show the capacity of such a design, but working on crunch time isn't my forte (I was pretty busy during Christmas, and this is lone wolf work.)
What's actually in there: Dummy enemies, Randomly generated rooms (I wish), Powerups and Powerdowns.
Hope you enjoy!
